What we are
Playback arcade is Bristol's best freeplay arcade run and owned by enthusiastic long-term gamers and friends, Mark and Nick. We love retro games and want to share what we love with as many people as possible, and so have set our games to freeplay for unlimited plays, with just a one-off admission fee.
Over 40 arcade machines, 15 consoles on CRTs, 2 NBA Hoops basketball machines, 1 Sonic air hockey machine, 1 table football machine, 1 Mario pinball machine, 4 DOS PCs linked and over 100 board games all freeplay. Also 8 pinball machines on pay-to-play.
We're open at the bottom floor of The Galleries, Broadmead, Bristol. Just across from Boswells cafe.
Booking is just below! Child tickets are 14 and below. No children under 12 to be left unattended without a guardian.
We're also experimenting with a pay-to-play pinball section with around 20 pinball machines! Check the list of games for more details. Below are a couple of video tours from Youtube.
